Webinar: Advancing Health Equity through Nursing Pathway Programs
March 18, 2024
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM ET
Learn about innovative programs that bring health care career opportunities to communities underrepresented in nursing and allied health professions. Hear how these programs work, what their outcomes are, and lessons learned.
Several featured programs are funded through the Health Equity and Nursing Innovations Fund, awarded by the AARP Center for Health Equity through NursingSM (A-CHEN) and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. That fund awards promising solutions aimed at eliminating structural inequities within the nursing profession, health systems, or community, and for projects that help improve access to care and services for those most disproportionately impacted by health disparities.
The webinar was hosted by A-CHEN and the Campaign for Action.
