We encourage Action Coalitions and friends of the Campaign to host a watch party to view a Future of Nursing 2020-2030 meeting.  We’ll be tracking these events and below have provided tips and resources to help make your watch party a success.

Tips for Hosting a Successful Watch Party

• Register for the livestream in advance.
• Get your invitations out early and cast a broad net – invite friends, stakeholders and supporters to attend.
• Submit information about your event.
• Do a tech check before the webcast to make sure all your systems (i.e. audio, projector, etc.) are in working order.
• Provide light refreshments for attendees, if your budget allows.
• Send a reminder to attendees about your watch party the day before the event.
• Print and post this crowd release at your event so that photos you take can be used by the Campaign.
• Get social – during the town hall join the conversation using the #FutureofNursing2030 hashtag on Twitter!
• After the event, send us your photos so we can feature them on the Campaign’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
