write the authors of a new article, “Governance Education for Nurses: Preparing Nurses for the Future,” published in the Journal of Professional Nursing. The authors, Lisa J. Sundean, PhD, RN, Kenneth R. White, PhD, ACHPN, FAAN, Linda S. Thompson, DrPH, RN, FAAN, and Lawrence D. Prybil, PhD, LFACHE, recommend incorporating governance competencies into nursing curricula across all education levels and providing a how-to strategy to accomplish it.
