A resource from AARP and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

“By prioritizing a sense of belonging, health care organizations can create healthier work environments that attract and retain a strong, diverse nursing workforce, ultimately enhancing patient care and promoting health equity,” the toolkit, Evidence for Belonging section.
The Recruitment and Retention Toolkit for Registered Nurses in Acute Care Settings was created by AARP and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, in collaboration with nurse leaders across the nation. The 44-page toolkit offers resources and strategies for nurse recruitment and retention, along with ways to foster a sense of belonging among nurse teams, and address gaps in current approaches to diversity and inclusion.
