Symposium between
academia and practice

This sheet reflects findings from the May 2016 symposium held by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, the California Action Coalition, HealthImpact, and the California Directors of Public Health Nursing. Participants addressed the shortage of clinical sites in local public health jurisdictions for nursing students enrolled in baccalaureate and higher degree nursing programs.
