Celebrating American Academy of Nursing Fellows
The American Academy of Nursing (AAN) inducts its class of 2020 fellows and honors five fellows as Living Legends at its 2020 Virtual Policy Conference, In Crisis and Calm: Leading with Purpose on Saturday, October 31. The Academy’s more than 2,600 fellows are nursing’s most accomplished leaders in education, management, practice, and research. They have been recognized for their extraordinary contributions to nursing and health care. The Academy’s Living Legends are nurse leaders “who, through their academic, practice, policy, and social contributions to advancing health, have made a lasting impression on the trajectory of the profession and the well-being of individuals globally.”
The 5:30 p.m. ET ceremony on YouTube will be open to all, free of charge and offer a live chat feature.
The Center to Champion Nursing in America, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will join RWJF on Monday, November 2, to co-host a virtual reception to honor Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action colleagues being recognized as AAN fellows and Living Legends.
