Jennifer A. Peed, MSW
Director of the Office of Center Integration and Deputy Director, RWJF State Implementation Program
Jennifer Peed is the director of the Office of Center Integration at the Center to Champion Nursing in America, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to improve America’s health through nursing. Jennifer provides financial oversight, directs operational activities, and provides guidance on special projects. She also serves as the deputy director of the RWJF Future of Nursing: State Implementation Program.
Prior to joining AARP in September 2013, Jennifer was an independent consultant providing management, strategic guidance, research, and policy analysis services to better understand and promote health, wellness, and social welfare. Jennifer also worked for several nonprofit organizations and academic institutions, holding positions as program director, grant administrator, development associate, and crisis counselor. During her academic preparation, she monitored state and federal legislation that had a potential impact on health care professionals and health care delivery systems. An entrepreneur at heart, Jennifer has successfully developed and launched two local businesses in the home remodeling industry.
Jennifer has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, with a concentration in management and a specialty in health.
