From February 28-March 1, 2013, Action Coalitions from 50 states and the District of Columbia convened in Washington, DC to unleash transformation and, ultimately, accelerate on-the-ground momentum of the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action. Teams developed shared understandings of next steps and strategy; created plans for bold action; and figured out ways to attract more diverse people to the work.
