Hi Ann, We are excited that you plan to work on leadership and diversity. There is a document in the directory of resources that provides an overview of what other ACs have planned for diversity. You can find it here http://campaignforaction.org/sites/default/files/Action%20Coalition%20Work%20on%20Nursing%20Diversity%204%2012%2013.pdf. It would be great to stay in touch about your plans to move forward.

Hi Ann, Nebraska's plan is to work with the Black Nurses Association/Hispanic Nurse Assc.and partner with AHEC (Area Health Education Centers) to reach out to high school students (this work just getting underway). Focus will also be on providing support at the Community College level with mentors, reduced membership fee to keep them engaged and successful as students. Good luck!
